The MotoGP circus began its very first official test of the season at Sepang in Malaysia, and even though the riders are returning from the winter break, the weather at Sepang is anything but frigid.
To celebrate the start of 2016 MotoGP action, AGV riders Andrea Iannone and Valentino Rossi debuted their unique edition winter testing helmets, with designs that are sure to make men and women laugh.
Rossi’s design and style embraces the winter break, as the left side of the helmet attributes ice crystals on a blue background, although a friendly smiling snowman wearing a yellow Yamaha hat and scarf stretches down from the leading of the helmet to the visor. Valentino’s quantity 46 is sketched in pale yellow on the back of the helmet. As always, the helmet graphics were designed by the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider with each other with Aldo Drudi.
Via February three, meanwhile, Iannone’s AGV Pista GP attributes a caricature of the seagull he smacked (and subsequently killed) whilst major the MotoGP race at Phillip Island final year. The leading of the helmet is finished in Ducati red and functions a white seagull with a dazed expression following hitting the Italian rider’s head. The sides and back of the helmet show Andrea’s nickname, “The Maniac”, and the Ducati brand name.
