From a Skidbike press release:
New motorcycle security technologies, teaching tools and instruction methods will be featured in an array of seminars, specialist demonstrations and test rides at the 2016 International Rider Coaching Symposium,April 14 – 16 at the Atlantis Resort, in picturesque Reno, Nevada.
Sponsored by the Two-Wheeler and Powersports enterprise unit of Robert Bosch LLC, the occasion is presented by SKIDCAR Method, Inc. USA and Cedergrens MEK, the creator and manufacturer of SKIDBIKE, a revolutionary field-training platform that lets students go beyond standard riding tactics to confidently explore sophisticated electronic security technologies such as traction control, ABS and motorcycle stability manage.
Focusing on current trends and future education challenges, the symposium was created for public and private motorcycle-education administrators, system directors, riding instructors, safety advocates, researchers and the law-enforcement community. Motorcyclists from around the area are also encouraged to attend.
The symposium kicks off with a welcoming reception and networking session on Thursday night. The conference goes into high gear on Friday with presentations by ten major specialists who study, create and test tomorrow’s instruction curriculum and technologies. They will be followed by Q&A sessions that give participants individual access to the speakers.
Saturday’s plan is packed with test rides of motorcycles equipped with Bosch motorcycle security systems, highlighted by professional demonstrations of Bosch and SKIDBIKE systems in action with each other.
They’ll team up on a SKIDBIKE-equipped KTM 1190 Adventure, which comes from the factory with the most current Bosch motorcycle security systems. This multi-use rider-instruction-tool will illustrate how traction handle, ABS and the most recent Bosch motorcycle stability manage can be experienced in a protected, low-speed-testing environment.
Attendees will also have the chance to swing a leg more than an additional SKIDBIKE-equipped training motorcycle and perform numerous exercises all through the day, in order to see for themselves how this instruction tool can fit into their programs or add to their expertise.
Atlantis Resort is in the heart of Reno, known as The Most significant Tiny City In The Globe. More like a smaller, friendlier Vegas at 4500 feet, its skyline of casino towers is hemmed in by the Sierra Nevada mountain variety. The second biggest city in Nevada, it has an international airport just two miles away, is amongst 36 and 100 miles from Lake Tahoe’s 18 ski resorts and is surrounded by 200 miles of maintained snowmobile trails.
Symposium registration is now open. To register, please get in touch with SKIDBIKE at 702-395-2896 or by way of email at Info@Skidbike.com. For more details about the SKIDBIKE motorcycle rider education platform, check out Skidbike.com. and its parent firm, SKIDCAR System, Inc. USA.
