The Rocky Mountain Motards are in their second season at North Star Raceway, the new kart track in Strathmore, Alberta. President Jim states that they are extremely excited to have Zero Motorcycles as a new sponsor. “The world’s biggest seller of full-size electric motorcycles has blessed us with help to minimize our track fees and attempt to have much more men and women… involved in our thrilling sport.”

Supermoto Ontario has a split character for the 2016 season. Mixture sport bike and supermoto lapping days had been trialed in 2015 at Shannonville Motorsport Park, and the club has received countless requests to continue this in the 2016 season from both sport bike and supermoto riders. Primarily it is two separate courses for two various varieties of bikes on the identical lapping day. SMO is also racing supermoto with SOAR at Grand Bend Motorplex. Supermoto Quebec has announced they are possessing a race at Mecaglisse Motorsports Park July 16, 17. They also hold lapping days at the identical facility throughout the season. AMA Supermoto has two races in their series that are FIM certified— in Loudon, and a race in Quebec, with the points counting towards the FIM North America title. The races will be broadcast on the MAVTV Motorsports Network, and the Quebec race may also be offered on other channels, as it’s part of the Globe Rally X circuit Aug 5-six. The Quebec race will take place on streets, not on track, according to the AMA. Their internet site also hints that the occasion actually requires location in Trois Rivieres.
